Registration and Rider Kit

When do entries close?

Entries close Friday 1st May 2026 at 4pm, unless sold out prior!

How much does it cost to enter?

It depends on your preferred distance. Click for prices: 60km, 145km and 204km.

I’m looking to withdraw my entry. What are my options?

Registration Cancellation Policy:

Up until Monday 6th of April 2026, participants can;

– Defer their entry to the next event date, or

– Receive a refund of registration fees minus an administration fee of 25%

 

From the 7th of April 2026 and after, participants who have not yet been mailed their race pack can transfer to the next event date up until Friday 24th of April 2026.

– There are no refunds or transfers if a participant has already received their pack via mailout.

 

Participants must notify us of their intent to withdraw before the above dates, via email at: info@o2events.com.au

Can I change my distance?

Yes – please email us at info@o2events.com.au to upgrade or downgrade your distance. Please note, participants will be charged the difference in registration fees, at the current pricing period, when upgrading distance.

How do I create a team?

The first team member to enter can create a team upon registration. They will receive the 10% discount, as will subsequent team members. Joining an existing team? Just select the relevant team when prompted during registration to receive the 10% team discount.

We can add a participant to a team after registration, however please note that the discount is not offered retroactively.

What are my options for receiving my Rider Kit?

A. Postage
Kit postage is available for purchase during registration until Thursday, 2nd of April. Please note, we are unable to bundle rider kits for postage and do not ship to international addresses. All kits will be mailed 2 weeks prior to the event weekend.

B. Pick Up
Kit collection is available from the Event Village at Elephant Walk Reserve, Torquay, during the following times:

Friday 1st May  –  4 – 6:30pm

Saturday 2nd May (event morning)  –  from 5:30am

Can I change from Pick-Up to Postage?

Yes – just visit the Event Store here to purchase postage before Thursday 2nd of April

Log in using your registration confirmation number and surname.

What is the minimum age criteria for riders?

204km = 16 years old

145km = 15 years old

60km = 15 years old

Ages are calculated as of December 31st, 2025.

 

Note: All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian for the entire time they are on course.

Event Information

Is it compulsory to wear the included event jersey?

We ask that all participants wear the included event jersey.

We offer size exchanges for unworn jerseys  at the registration tent during opening hours. Swaps are subject to size availability and are not guaranteed. Where a jersey cannot be exchanged, riders may wear another brightly coloured jersey.

Keep an eye on the weather forecast and be prepared with a warm undershirt, arm & leg warmers, gilet, and rain jacket if necessary.

What time should I arrive at the Start Line in order to be marshalled into my start category?

For a stress-free event day, we recommend that you arrive at the Event Village approxiamtely 1 hour before your start time. 

Riders will be asked to assemble at the Start Line at the following times:

204km Epic Ride – 6:20am

145km Classic Ride – 7:15am

60km Social Ride – 8:20am

Are there cut-off times?

In order to meet the road re-opening times which are a condition of our road closure permits, riders are required to maintain an average speed of 18 km/h. Riders falling behind the average speed will have the option to get a lift in the SAG wagon to the next Aid Station or continue under open road conditions.

Can I change start groups?

Yes – you are welcome to start in your preferred wave on the day and do not need to notify us of this change.

What kind of bikes are permitted on course?

Riders are welcome to use any roadworthy bike during the event. Please ensure your bike is serviced and in working order ahead of the event weekend. E-bikes are permitted, however participants are responsible for ensuring their battery is charged and can sustain their race distance.

Where can I park?

Riders staying in Torquay are encouraged to ride to the Start Line from their accommodation. 

Parking near the Event Village is available at Fishermans Beach, Point Danger and Surf Beach Drive. See the Rider Guide for parking maps.
